@CVEnew "If the system administrator chooses to re-use the default passwords after initial setup, then anyone with access to a documented management interface can log into the system with the default password"
This week on #the443podcast, @SecAdept & @XORRO_ cover some of our favorite talks from this year's edition of the #BlackHat2023 cybersecurity conference in Las Vegas. We'll discuss the trends we saw and summaries of interesting topics.

Was given a taxi voucher over to DCA if I wanted it. No rental car stands still open there though. Had to eat the cost of a hotel room for the night at peak rate and miss a day with my family in the area. All because @Delta didnt feel like maintaining their planes. [8/8]
Had a comedy of errors @Delta flight two nights ago. Story starts with a 30 minute layover in DTW (not their fault on that part) that we ran to make the flight. Hop on as the captain is saying "we are a priority flight, doors are closing so we can leave" [1/8]
Ultimately 2 hours later after sitting down on the flight they finally get the door closed, wheel chocks removed, and the engine started so we can leave. Ended up arriving at IAD at 1am, too late for the car rental I transferred after the divert announcement. [7/8]
@XORRO_ and @secadept are hosting special guests:
- Matt Lee, @pax8
- Calvin Engen, @F12Net
- Scott Williamson, @watchguard
They're discussing hacker origin stories, cybersecurity industry news, and differentiated products and services.
First time flying @AlaskaAir since switching to @Delta 3 years ago. Flight to was delayed 2 hours after I got through security and now a least another half hour due to a broken plane at the gate. Yup, that's why I left.
