🚨 Pentagon Just Admitted Bitcoin is a U.S. Military Power-Projection Weapon Against China

In a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Lance Gooden pressed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on whether Bitcoin can serve as a strategic tool for national power.

Hegseth’s reply was blunt: “Yes and yes.”

He confirmed Bitcoin provides real strategic leverage over China and other adversaries… and revealed the Pentagon is already running classified initiatives both to enable and to counter the technology.

It lines up with earlier military experiments testing Bitcoin nodes for hardened, censorship-resistant communications and cybersecurity, plus the 2025 executive order that created a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Bottom line: the Department of Defense now openly views Bitcoin as more than money. It’s a tool of statecraft, a decentralized network that can project power, preserve financial sovereignty, and complicate adversaries’ ability to control global flows.

The age of Bitcoin as pure speculation is over. The age of Bitcoin as geopolitical infrastructure has officially begun.
