@PJYoung98@RossDellenger@On3 Generally conservative governments first give a framework and then ask the entity to self-regulate. IMO, If they don’t, real regulation will follow perhaps next year or before Trump is out of office.
@PJYoung98@RossDellenger@On3 Congressional actions don’t work that way. If signed by POTUS, it is law and college athletics thus are regulated and everyone will comply. I would point out that colleges have proven they cannot regulate themselves. Without action this will continue to spiral out of control.
@JWMediaDC what would make sense is to take most of the ACC, BIG10, SEC, Big12 and Pac10 and form a super league with divisions similar to the old conference alignment. Hell call the divisions the same name and then sell the entire media to one or two companies. Enough of the stupidity
@David_Khait good point. the reason to seal it like a pool was to present leaking. maybe they can stop using river water which is disgusting now and use city water and chlorinate it to keep it fresh. Democrats love scum though so I can see why they are unhappy.
@ZacharyforWard5 I see you are a council member. Take this as a learning opportunity for how you can make DC better. Clean up the City. Come down hard on criminals. Serve your citizens.
@drawandstrike sadly when you are in any big city and see people living on the street under bridges they are mentally ill or drug addicts or both. we should be housing these individuals where they can get proper care and support. our mental hospital history keeps us from doing the right thing
@CryptoOwun@CariEnthusiast their stadium is ugly. i know it has a large capacity but it is made of metal scaffolding and sheet metal. not a proper stadium. not even a “barn”. it’s a tin shed that’s been added onto like some homeless vagabond.
@0xDavecryps well climate change is a myth and no one wants to waste their own money on that rather they intend to become wealthy off of it. poverty is a function of educating, drug use and mental illness. no one intentionally lives on the streets.
