Ritual is building a scalable, verifiable, and programmable AI layer right into its own blockchain. Think of @ritualnet as building an "Internet for AI", where AI models can be created, shared and used by anyone, transparently and without relying on a single company or authority.

Currently, most of the powerful AI are controlled by a few large corporations. This leads to several problems:

- Lack of Trust and Transparency: You don't truly know how these AI models work, what data they were trained on or if they're biased.

- Censorship and Control: A central authority can decide which AI models are allowed or which data they can access.

- Privacy Concerns: Your data might be used in ways you don't approve of when interacting with centralized AI.

To solve these issues, Ritual is building its own blockchain by extending the standard EVM into something into EVM++ that:

- Handles recurring tasks like scheduled AI calls
- Supports custom accounts for better UX
- Has native shortcuts (or known as precompiles) to enable verifiable AI by combining ZKP and TEE for ensuring trust even if the AI's output even is ran off-chain.

On top of that, it has 3 major components for the blockchain:

1) Infernet: a specialized oracle network that is specialized to perform heavy duty task for AI models such as inferencing and fine-tuning them.

2) Resonance: a fee auction system that efficiently matches people who need AI computing power with those who can provide it, ensuring fair prices and efficient use of resources.

3) Symphony: a custom consensus system that use dual proof sharding so that different types of workload go to the best-suited nodes ensuring the chain secure and efficient.

With these innovative architecture developed by Ritual, you can think of it like Ethereum with a built-in AI brain and muscle. Beyond that, it can also act as prover networks, AI model marketplace and L2 RaaS by leveraging Ritual tech stack.
