The problem was never the kids. It was that to prove a user isn't 15, every adult in France has to prove they aren't. The Constitutional Council called that a disproportionate hit to free expression with no safeguards for private life.

I hear your words about cooperation, trust, and avoiding confrontation, and my heart truly wants to believe in them—because peace is what every ordinary person longs for, Chinese, American, Iranian, or anywhere else. I deeply admire the Chinese people: their hard work, their sacrifices, their quiet focus on building a better tomorrow for their children. That inspires me.

But when I see the suffering in Iran—the killings, the rapes, the hangings of their own people by a regime that clings to power above all else , my heart breaks. Thousands have died in recent months just for daring to ask for dignity and freedom. Mothers bury their children; families disappear into the night. How can leaders who speak so beautifully of mutual benefit and non-confrontation stay completely silent on such cruelty when it happens under a close partner's watch?

I know the world is complicated👉🏽oil, strategy, stability all play their roles. But silence in the face of mass suffering feels like a wound to the soul. We are all human first. No amount of money or power lasts forever; karma, or justice from above, or simply the truth of our shared fragility will prevail. Mother Earth could end us in a blink, yet we allow regimes to destroy lives for their own survival.

I don't say this to accuse China or its people—I separate the beautiful spirit of the nation from the cold calculations of politics. I say it because life matters more than alliances. We all want the same thing: to live in peace, without fear, without our children paying the price for someone else's hunger for control.

If trust and cooperation are real, shouldn't they include speaking up when innocents bleed? Not confrontation, but conscience. Not interference, but humanity.
