Following the terrorist attack on Friday evening, among the seized arms and explosives, military insignia pictured were also found. The vast majority of these belonged to Serbian and Russian Armed Forces, such as the Russian Airborne Forces (VDV). The links of the arrested individuals to the Belgrade-sponsored terrorist organization "Civil Protection" indicate the presence of foreign actors.

Of course, terrorist events do not happen in a vacuum. In this context, Serbia's paramilitary incursion last year and its constant sponsoring of crime through various methods in the north of Kosova leave little room for speculation. However, the investigation is ongoing, and further details — along with the number of foreign parties involved — will be revealed.

It was a pleasure to meet the new European Union High Representative, @kajakallas, in Brussels on her second day in office. I congratulated her on assuming the role of leading the EU’s foreign and security policy during such challenging times for Europe.

I also discussed the recent terrorist attack on our critical infrastructure and emphasized that security remains of utmost importance. In order to have regional cooperation and good-neighborly relations, security threats must end, and the lead terrorist behind the Banjska attack, along with his paramilitary group, must be handed over to Kosova for prosecution.

I look forward to working together to advance our shared goals.

(1/2) During a raid in the northern part of the country today, ammunition, weapons, and uniforms were discovered hidden under a barn. The evidence included Serbian, Russian, U.S., and British army uniforms, exposing plans to commit crimes and shift blame to others.

Over the past three days our Police has confiscated a substantial amount of armaments, as pictured, which include weapons and grenades in the north of the country. Calls for inspection come from ordinary citizens who alarm the police. The safety of the people and the security of the entire country remain a key priority for our government, especially when facing such imminent threats to our collective security.

We have extended our security services to the citizens of Leposaviç by completely revitalizing the @Kosovo_Police substation in Soçanicë - a station with a multi-ethnic police force, serving the community. Ensuring the safety & security of all our citizens is our top priority 🇽🇰
