@HatchAttacked My dad gave it to me a while back. He has a few collected. They pop up in antique stores fairly regularly though. Cory and Silex are the most popular. If I see one around I will let you know though.

Anyone interested in vintage coffee makers? Made some today with a Cory Glass Vacuum Pot. You heat water in the bottom and it siphons up to the top where it mingles with the grounds. When removed from heat, the water suctions back through the bed of grounds into the lower pot.

@wbentonwilson They are incredibly easy to break and you have to take the top part off and rest it in this thing. The stem doesn’t look like it would support the top.

It’s not something you’d want to do daily but it makes a ridiculously good cup of coffee. I like the oils that are retained in brewing methods without a paper filter.
