Following FDA & CDC authorization, and with LDH guidance, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is now approved for children ages 5-11. COVID vaccines slow the spread by reducing kids’ risk of infection, and minimize disruptions to in-person learning in school.

The City of New Orleans announced the launch of a new program to assist Orleans Parish residents impacted by Hurricane Ida.

Beginning today, applications will accepted for the Hurricane Ida Insurance Deductible Program.

The Disaster Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) has been approved for Orleans Parish. DSNAP provides food assistance to eligible households who need help buying groceries due to Hurricane Ida.
