@_GlobeObserver This back and forth was a waste of time.
Uk basically had this Golden era relationship 10 years ago with China before they had to renege on it because America wanted us to.
@yai787@kuroitsune@IronicnotSavage I heard about that, but after looking it up a whilst ago it turns out there's a shortage on purpose.
The industry just likes hiring the same 100 male actors for every studio lol.
@elonmusk Probably because ethnic minorities generally live at the expensive States for work.
For Whites salary, is it including all the red states in the middle of US lol?
@pilgoth Saw a documentary about Cocomelon basically being brainrot for kids. Bright oversaturated colors, scene changes every 2 seconds, etc.
Will make babies grow up with short attention span.
Switched them to Miss Rachel for now which is more calmer and educational.

'CocoMelon' is literally designed to put babies in a trance like state. They invented something called the "Distractatron" to measure every instance when a child's full attention strays
@__justplaying I'm assuming that instead of hashing the password, they're actually encrypting and decrypting the password and comparing raw strings which is quite bad.
If they get hacked, then the hacker can decrypt all the passwords in minutes. With hashes would take a while to brute force.
@RobertaGleicher@Creech@AlexrealNFT@PicturesFoIder Well the houses were only 2-3 times their salary back then so double digits interest rates weren't a big deal.
Nowadays houses are 10x your salary where the interest accrues more overall despite being single digit.
@jovian_drifter @rhizanthemum@0xJoIris@leoschettini2@tdinh_me@levelsio I've worked at profitable companies that have been around for 50+ years.
They aren't startups but a monolith codebase was enough for them based on their traffic and product they sell.
@jovian_drifter @rhizanthemum@0xJoIris@leoschettini2@tdinh_me@levelsio Well I've been hired to remove pieces away from a PHP monolith to Golang microservices / grpcs.
Was too expensive adding another PHP box to scale on aws.
Now we move to a more efficient compiled language with microservices, can scale them up separately with more ram or cpu.
@rhizanthemum@0xJoIris @jovian_drifter @leoschettini2@tdinh_me@levelsio But yes, just start 99% of projects as a monolith as you said earlier.
Most projects just end up dying from lack of users, so making a monolith saves a lot of development time.
It's the marketing and getting users is the main issue in the end.
@rhizanthemum@0xJoIris @jovian_drifter @leoschettini2@tdinh_me@levelsio If your product only has a small amount of concurrent users then yes.
Once concurrent users goes too high, it can become too expensive to just duplicate containers with a load balancer.
Needs separating some high traffic endpoints to its own server to scale accordingly.
@ed_halferty@tdinh_me The first product should just be a monolith, if it becomes successful you hire people to fix the monolith for better scalability.
Having a good database design for all your tables in the same db server early is easy and barely increases development time though.
@0xJoIris @jovian_drifter @leoschettini2@tdinh_me@levelsio I believe starting with a monolith for the mvp is perfectly acceptable especially if no one uses it in the end.
However I think having a good database designs early is simple and barely increases the amount of coding time.
@Yawaru@karljobstgaming@SonyPony13 From Muta, it was a gentleman agreement not to include it as it was off the record.
But then he lied and tried to paint them in a bad light so they had receipts to show.
@KingTailorGang@zhangshuai121 What you mean faking a retirement? She quit out of frustration.
Other lady still won so not sure why you mad at 'faking'.
