Charles Spencer's first wife had a heroin addiction she hid from him. They were both abusive to each other. Instead of using her addiction and taking custody of the children, he moved the whole family in South Africa even though they git divorced, he took care of the children while she got in rehab for almost two years, he raised the kids. They lived in South Africa until the children were teens and he came back in the UK. Kitty Spencer his older child chose to come with him lived in Althorp, she got educated in Italy. Charles Spencer was always very close with his children. He and kitty disagreed heavily on her marrying a 36 years older guy, Charles Spencer believed she didn't needed to marry such an older guy and she could have done so much better. After that they stopped talking to each other for years, Kitty sisters took her side. He never had issues with the rest of his children. Without going to much detail, the relationship with his daughters is healing and they are close again. As i said he and his sisters are much older now, they are very close, Sarah had a scare lately and they want their family to be as close as ever. It's one of the reasons he wrote the book now. He is still relatively not old.

Princess Diana still resented and hated inside the Royal family. For how many years i have been saying this! King Charles dissapeared her pics from all palaces and houses. William and Harry didn't have her pics out because ot was hurting papa. William didn't have pics of her in his house even as a married man up until a few years ago as he admitted.

Only Prince Harry has had the guts to be open and proud of her. To love her admire and appreciate her work and legacy and that's what he is teaching his children.
How many years i have been saying William is raising his children in an environment that still hates Princess Diana to its core. William himself doesn't feel any connection to her, he can hardly speak warm about her. Only the last few years after he realised she is the huge brand that the whole world still relates to, he is trying to embrace who she was.
How many times I have said you visit palaces as a tourist and you aren't allowed to ask for her. The staff is ordered not to talk about her. And William Parker Bowles has accepted all that. He took part on this erasing. I'm so glad all these are coming to light. 30 years on they are still hating her on every turn because she remains super popular. Bigger and loved.

Prince William William Parker Bowles has had no issue to accept and promote as gis stepmother the woman who nonstop hurt princess Diana attacked her and organised a whole campaign to discredit her on a daily basis.
