@AnnastaciaMP You have failed my family. Both Adults double vaxxed. My wife gets a text today saying she has identified as a close contact. 14 days in isolation, Christmas with the family ruined. If you just kept the borders shut... So much for families reuniting.
I've been so excited about my new job and getting to use my dev skills that I've been finding it hard to unwind. It's important thought https://t.co/tNhn8nA7Fi
So I had enough of a server to start the client of my little Typescript project. i present my implementation of a protected route for react-router-dom in TS. The plan is to use a redux store to hold the user for the the user prop.
So the app is supposed to be a place for a friend of mine to write the rules for a RPG adapted from FATECORE he is developing as discord is not super convenient.
CRUD actions for sections or chapter headings working now. the more i use TS the more i like it.
Got my typescript api to auto deploy to heroku from github. #gitflow#FeelsGood
Also got my mongoose models working with TS after figuring out that you have to declare the type of "this" in functions. That was a headache for a bit. Haha. No pics this time, on the train.
So after receiving some constructive criticism last week, it became apparent that I was only using JWT's coz they're trendy. Ripped out that in favour for a cookie based session solution. More adventures in Typescript to come!
Couldn't help myself, I'm now storing my user's and jwt's in mongo. Criticism welcome if anyone more experienced in TypeScript x Node.js wants to pick apart my noob code. https://t.co/K84mqehM1d
after much faffing around i was able to get eslint configured with prettier and typescript. made a hello world server in TS. hahaha first foray into typescript baby steps.
Can't believe it, submitted my final assignment. I've finished the boot camp. crazy. Looking forward to interning somewhere and find a place in the industry. 🧑💻
