Wei Daxun as Chu Tianqu would be soo interesting. I really, really despised the character at first. I think he'll be a screen favorite in the adaptation. A very complex character. His echo/reverberation is maddening! Spoiler! He eats eyeballs! 😣

So I just finished #PursuitofJade. I didn't read the book so I'm going blind here, I love the cinematography (as I did with the director's other works).

Zhang Linghe, captured beautifully. Tian Xiawei, the perfect Changyu. I love it when her characters reflect the real her (+)

very predictable. I think I just read enough novels to figure it out 😭 So yeah, the last episode felt like a filler episode. The story could've been beautifully wrapped around ep 38.

And I almost forgot about Changning and Bao'er! I love the subtle clues of what their (+)
