If they are charged it will open such a legal floodgate to group activities + there aren’t any cases to act as precedent.

@TravisTrevyn @nzranasr Just to add on. One can be charged for ommission but only if they implied responsibility on the person or they have a professional duty to & failed to carry it out (sweeper in this case). The friends didn’t imply resp, they’re just immoral for walking away, not illegal.

The sweeper blh bcs it’s their job. Or else this would become a floodgate. Likely they will walk scotfree, still unfair but that’s law.
