Eat cleaner, ground your feet with the sun, eat to 90% satiety, get sufficient protein, lift weights, walk, sprint occasionally, remember god, get better, make money, dance, sing, joke, read, write, a few drinks and have sex with a woman you adore.

Initiation isn’t just about seeing higher worlds.

It involves passing through inner trials.
One of those trials is a profound experience of cosmic isolation.

⸻

When a person begins to detach from ordinary sensory consciousness:

•The familiar world of physical certainty dissolves.
•Emotional supports fall away.
•External authorities lose their power.
•One stands alone with the “I”.

This isn’t social loneliness.
It’s existential — like standing alone in the universe.

This is best described as:
•Feeling cut off from all beings.
•Standing in spiritual darkness.
•A silence where even God seems absent.

⸻

Why this happens in initiation.

•The ego must become independent.
•Spiritual perception must not depend on collective belief or emotion.
•The soul must withstand emptiness without collapsing.

This stage ensures that what develops next is freedom — not dependency.

True initiation is not:
•Emotional ecstasy
•Blissful visions
•Losing oneself in cosmic unity

It includes:
•Dryness
•Inner desert
•Radical self-confrontation

⸻

The “Guardian” experience.

The encounter with the Guardian of the Threshold — a confrontation with:
•One’s karma
•One’s shadow
•One’s unresolved moral reality

That moment can intensify the loneliness because:
•Illusions fall away.
•Self-deception becomes impossible.

⸻

If someone seeks higher worlds without strengthening the ego, they risk:
•Losing individuality
•Being overwhelmed by astral forces
•Confusing imagination with reality

The loneliness phase builds:
•Inner backbone
•Moral independence
•Spiritual adulthood

Never glorify suffering or withdrawing from real human connection. The point of initiation was to return stronger — more loving,
more grounded, more responsible.

@ravihanda Perhaps you’ve chased things out of necessity for too long.

@YOHAMI @IlluMayaa While reading this- the bleak voice that uttered are you sure you’re not conning this time is the con itself.

The reminiscent hurt does spring from time to time - thats just life - returning to Self is the practice.

Then you load the gun again towards your north star.

An Indian hero.

[Griffin @6ESinger157593]

Had this man not found the courage to fight back after being repeatedly attacked with an axe capable of cutting through metal—while bleeding profusely—and had the presence mind to trigger the hijack/emergency code, initiate the emergency response and open the cockpit door to allow passengers to assist him, the aircraft’s subsequent dive could have had catastrophic consequences.

Had that aircraft not been recovered, the geopolitical consequences for the Middle East could have been profound and potentially irreversible.

Sometimes history turns on the courage, resilience and presence of mind of one person.

Yes. One Indian man.

@BerbarianWizard will be giving this a try

The accumulation of life events.

The accumulation of feelings about the events.

As the memories grow,

The Mind becomes . . . heavier.

The human begins to buckle under the weight.

For he was not made to withstand

The Weight of Memories.
