Our principles still stand because they are God-given, which makes them eternal. Though men will pervert our founding principles to suit their desires, America’s vision for a country where all are treated equally under the law remains in sight, and we would to well to pursue it.
Today we celebrate almost 250 years of independence. America’s story is a mission to stand up for the ideals of our founding: all men are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable rights by our creator. It has been a long and bumpy road, but our ideals still stand.
