Avero was an ETH Zurich student research project that developed a propeller-free inspection drone.
Using swiveling thrust nozzles, it can withstand collisions while offering full six-degree-of-freedom maneuverability.
The project was discontinued last year after successfully developing and testing multiple prototypes.
