@JohnSne6669331@EpicGames Nothing. If you think the game deserves a one-star rating when you're given the chance to evaluate it, fair enough.
You just won't be able to go around giving such reviews as you wish since the system is randomized.
@EpicNewsroom It's insane to see how quick Epic Online Services are evolving compared to its competitor, which honestly, doesn't even deserve to be called as such since it's completely stagnant at what matters. It's easy to see why every dev wants to use EOS!
Can't wait what's next!
@egs_enthusiast @insomniacgames Absolutely! It's crazy to think I'm going to have SM, Redfall, GoW and State of Decay 2 in a single storefront on PC, and more importantly: a store which has been on the market for less than four years!
Epic is changing the PC landscape, and it'll only get better from here!
@LordEddy05@BethesdaStudios@StarfieldGame It's absurd to see certain individuals going out of their way to screenshot this tweet, treating it as if this was an egregious opinion.
People have preferences, and some preferring a voiced protagonist isn't something extreme that warrants some of the replies I've read here.
@egs_enthusiast Shame I'm blocked by this person, must have asked the questions the Cult doesn't like. Would've loved to see the mental gymnastics!
Anyhow, I can see you're breaking the poor cultist down! It's a matter of time of how long it takes for them to resort to insults and alt accounts.
@egs_enthusiast @NihilisticNerd@Splitgate Holy! You just found the embodiment of the Steam cult.
I honestly can't imagine the individuals who go to EGS-related stuff just to attack it, or comment about how they prefer Steam, being much different than this person.
@egs_enthusiast @EpicGames It was quick, right to the chase and full of great looking games. That's the kind of showcase I want to see becoming the standard in the industry.
@egs_enthusiast @EpicGames I know, right? The folks at Coffee Stain were absolutely genius with this trailer.
Wonder if we are going to see something about the actual Dead Island 2 tomorrow on the EGS showcase, though. Who knows, maybe this was some foreshadowing!
@loganbogan9 @Eisberg_Wolf @weirddr3@insomniacgames EGS, in the other hand, is way more viable and even without an exclusivity deal, developers have a lot to gain from having their games there. Not only their games will be in a curated storefront, but they're able to reach an crowd that Valve doesn't have access to.
@loganbogan9 @Eisberg_Wolf @weirddr3@insomniacgames No, there's plenty to lose actually. See GoG, for example. There's various releases there that are outdated due to how unpopular that storefront is. Developers have said this before: simshipping isn't as easy as it might sound, and for most cases, GoG isn't worth it.
