lol depending on context… but being frank with you it’s not too much, that’s less than $20
Now pricing when it comes to the service business model is not a rigid concept that being said nobody is charging so high or so low.
You charge based on value perceived and value promised.
I’ve worked on projects where I worked on design for 100K, 150K and as well 200K for just one ad campaign flyer and the client didn’t think twice but paid, why? - My value communication, the value they perceived that they will get from what I will deliver..
Here is the light shock; you will never outgrow this mindset if you are still seeing yourself as just a designer if not you will just remain a color mixer..
The moment you realize the importance of the design you are shipping to business owners then you will place value on it..
Do you know that one strategic design can flip a products revenue by X10 just because it was executed properly?
Now I’m not saying you shoud wake up and start billing high cause yes I had clients who
Paid such amount on projects even currently as I speak I have 2 brands on retainer they pay such equivalent but the difference is that they pay in bulk monthly and we deliver.
When you learn more on busines of design you will understand better.
Learn pricing, learn factors that determines a price of a project, learn pricing strategies, haging, skimming. Value added, etc.
Again I say, this is a service based business model, no price is too big or too small.
Then lastly, add your skill set, don’t just rely on flyer designs, if you are good doing flyer you can ups-kill too cause when you do you are not contesting for volume again you are working on organized project that pay more. E.g Motion design or ui/ux or full brand identity.
Selah….
