@ProdBySumthin @TheRock You'd think that The Rock is a scary guy cause of his build. But turns out he's actually one of the nicest and most genuine people on this platform!
@LDCMB7@Oprah Oprah seems to be quite the popular pick in our class and I can certainly see why! The way she uses her platform and power to influence change is amazing!

I'm going to sound like a broken record here but @matthewmercer is what I'd consider to be a great celebrity leader. His usage of his platform to help and interact with others is emblematic of what good leaders are.

It's kinda crazy that we live in a time where people can make ready use of 3D printers. Right now we're mostly limited to using plastics, but with things like industrial-grade and food printers, it seems inevitable that every industry will base itself on the tech.
#DigiTechS22A The topic I've chosen for my project is Augmented/Virtual Reality. VR today is an emerging technology that is mostly used for entertainment and limited professional work. But, as an emerging tech, it has massive potential to shake up society as a whole.
@MarkCher01 Yknow, we always hear about how digital technology use is increasing for younger people, but I don't think we often hear about this kind of increase in the elderly population.
@STrimpert Absolutely agree, most people are moving away from "standard" TV. My family hasn't had a real tv service since I was still in middle school.
@jkasica30 Hey I also did cancel culture, nice post!
I absolutely agree that cancel culture has had a massive impact on internet behavior. Personally I think its done more harm then good.

Something that I've noticed has popped up alot in recent years is the concept of cancel culture. This particular practice is extremely disruptive because its become a sort of social obstacle to be avoided.

@annawildePR@usainbolt That's awesome, I never knew that Usain Bolt had his own charity platform. Though, thinking about it, he's certainly got the popularity to back it.
@matthewmercer is the creator of one of my personal favorite podcasts, Critical Role, a production that's been running for years. With the popularity of his platform, he's used his platform for charity/community outreach programs.
