I like to think that sonic is only so because of the kind of person he is. If sonic was mind controlled into being the opposite of who he is, then he wouldn't be as strong because he isn't thinking like himself.

@DarkSentinel1 @SnocDa @NegativeSymptom In IDW, Lanolin is mostly portrayed as being a fairly capable fighter as any one else is(She just has leadership issues) So I guess this aspect didn't really translate that well to me.

But even if was the case, that shes not strong enough to do things. I still dont love it as is

@theJohn_arthur @NegativeSymptom Plus in IDW, we almost never see sonic win a battle by himself most of the time. Sonic winning with no one elses help is pretty rare in the book actually. 90% of the time he needs help from his friends or someone else in order to win.

Plus its not like eggman has *only* been defeated by sonic before. Plenty of other sonic characters are just as capable and have defeated eggman in the past. I dont get it.
