I played WoW and the leader of the best guild got a super rare mount when first klling a boss. I guess he had a blast doing it.

If interoperability between games starts, you could also use that skin in a different game which is now more appealing to you.

However, there can still be just fun games who give you digital ownership of what you got by having fun or what you bought. You may not „earn“ money to live off, but you can cash out legally instead of selling your acc on ebay.

@punk9059 Doesn't opensea realize that it is also damaging to their business and a failed policy? I would not currently buy high value NFTs from the secondary market. There are so many NFTs being stolen, the chance of accidentally buying a stolen one and getting it frozen is just too high.
