@notself_ No one in the dance community of that area shared her gofundme, and that should say a lot because we protect each other and throw down when dancers or POC are harmed. It seems regalia was used as a prop to rob Indigenous folks of their compassion and money here.

@mydanadh Community organizers and dancers were asking genuine questions to better support her. Did she need therapy? Immigration help? Further medical support? Etc. We noticed she only responded to those who donated or showed compassion before we were muted.

1 white girl goes missing and the whole country is looking for her.

Indigenous women go missing at an alarming rate and 10x more than white women do and no one bats an eye or the bare minimum is done for them.
