This map demonstrates what little influence big evangelical leaders, like Max Lucado, Jack Graham, Robert Jeffress, and establishment leaders like Newt Gingrich, had over the recent Texas Republican primary. Thank you Texas for rejecting woke leadership & doing the right thing.

Today, we're introducing Chafer President Dr. Andy Woods' article, featured in our latest edition of Pneumatikos Vol. 17.1
"A Critique of the Pre-Wrath Rapture View"
Abstract:
This article critiques the Pre-Wrath Rapture theory in favor of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture view from a dispensational perspective. The Pre-Wrath Rapture theory teaches that the Church will endure part of the tribulation and be raptured sometime in the middle of it. This perspective was popularized in the 1990s through the writings of theologians such as Robert Van Kampen (1938–1999) and Marvin Rosenthal (1935–2022); Alan Kurschner is a current advocate of the Pre-Wrath Rapture. This study describes the Pre-Wrath Rapture view and considers problems with it compared to standard arguments in favor of the Pre-Tribulational Rapture view, before examining additional problems with the Pre-Wrath Rapture. In comparison to the standard dispensational Pre-Tribulational Rapture view, the Pre-Wrath theory places the Church in Daniel’s Seventieth week, fails to acknowledge the missing church, confines God’s wrath to only a portion of the Tribulation’s second half, denies the Rapture’s imminency, fails to consistently explain how the Rapture is a comfort to the believer, and misinterprets the restrainer as Michael the Archangel rather than the Holy Spirit. Additional problems with the Pre-Wrath view include that it imposes an artificial construct on Daniel’s Seventieth Week, places the Great Tribulation before God’s wrath, places the Rapture in Revelation 7:9–17, and places the Rapture in Matthew 24:31, 40–41.
