At the Volcano Engine FORCE conference in Beijing, ByteDance unveiled Seedance 2.5 — a massive leap for professional AI filmmaking.

Key Upgrades:
• Breaks the 15s barrier: Native 30-second continuous clips in one pass. No more stitching!
• Cinematic Quality: Native 4K output for crisp, pro-level results.
• Insane Control: Up to 50 multimodal references (images, video, audio) in one prompt → solves character/setting drift. Plus local editing tools for surgical object swaps.

They’re also launching an AI copyright platform for legal remixing of licensed studio IP, with Stephen Chow as an early partner.

Enterprise beta is live now. Full public release expected early July 2026 in Dreamina & CapCut.

It’s the message this sends to non-American researchers: you can help build frontier AI, but access can still be revoked by passport category.

That is a talent-trust problem, not just a compliance problem.

Foreign developers who helped build Anthropic’s most advanced models can no longer access the work they created.
Not because they’re a security risk.
Because they don’t hold a US passport.
This is “passport privilege on knowledge” in action.

@M7rusa بدون ذكر أسماء بلاد او أشخاص ، في اعتقادي الشخصي اي بلد او شخص تربى او مقتنع بالفكر الشيوعى سيكون مقتنع ان كل شخص له كرسي واحد و يشارك في الطاولة، ولا يمتلك حق الطاولة له منفرداً، (سيفكر انه ليس من العدل ان يحتكر شخص واحد طاولها بها العديد من الكراسي في منطقة محببة لمعظم الناس).
