Walk for Peace isn't quiet in Sri Lanka because Buddhism isn't practiced quietly in Sri Lanka. Temples insist on loudspeakers, people recite gaatha loudly but not mindfully, and we can't sit still and pay attention and do as we are told and be quiet.
