@karbarn60 @Investingcom I was wrong in speculating based on the headline. It looks like these emergencies were declared for weather related reasons and not political ones. It was tempting in light of recent events though.

@HighTechPatriot @HodlMagoo It is my interpretation though that in the way events unfolded, Alex was doing perfectly within his rights, and there was no intentional resisting of arrest (ie trying not to have your nose in buried in concrete after being maced and tackled by several people).

@HighTechPatriot @HodlMagoo Multiple things can be true. What Alex did was very stupid, but discharging what I believe to be 10+ rounds into a target already on the ground is definitely overstepping by the agent. It suggests intent to kill, not neutralize.

@simonateba There is a much greater risk for a man to do what she did because many have the perception that men pose an inherently greater physical danger than women do. That said, I commend her for standing up and offering to contact that man’s family for him.

@HighTechPatriot @HodlMagoo It could be that he felt someone snag his gun, snd he instinctively checked to feel if it was still there. It’s important to remember how tense the situation was, and not to assume the worst in Alex. He was a good person.
