Last week Y3VH had a great time working with an artist and creating some lanterns for the
Shiregreen Lantern Walk. They made frames from willow, covered them in tissue paper and then decorated them. #BeckYear3 #BeckArt

This term in Year 3 the children are learning about Sheffield and the Industrial Revolution. They went on a visit to the Shepherd Wheel and learnt about Grinders who were the people that sharpened knives.

Last week in Year 3 the children learnt about the importance of Remembrance Day. They created some poppy inspired artwork.

As a reward for a fabulous week 3CW have had a lovely afternoon being creative. We looked at the artist Georgia O'Keeffe and painted flowers in the her style. These will be going home to our mum's as a thank you for all they do for us.

Y3VH absolutely loved their residential to Whirlow Farm last week. They particularly enjoyed meeting and feeding the animals, completing a scavenger hunt and playing in the park.
