Students can pre-order the standard edition of Grand Theft Auto 6 for about $64 at Target through the Target Circle Students program
Verified Target Circle Students (and teachers) get a one time 20% off coupon that applies to the $79.99/$80 standard edition (code in box physical version for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S), this brings the price down to roughly $63.99 $64 before taxes
Target Circle membership is free, to qualify, you must verify student (or teacher) status, typically by submitting a school issued document confirming enrollment, once approved, the coupon appears in your Target Circle wallet you need to select and apply it manually at checkout (it does not apply automatically), the offer is US only and generally valid through mid September 2026 (reports cite September 12)
Pre ordering also includes the usual bonuses, such as the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+, note that Target does not offer the $100 Ultimate Edition as a physical pre order, so the discount applies only to the standard version, stacking a Target RedCard can reduce the price further to around $60 $61 before tax
GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (with pre load access expected around November 12 for eligible purchases), always double check the current terms and availability directly on Target’s site, as promotions and stock can change.
4 New features coming in GTA 6:
- Over 60% of buildings will be accessible.
- There will be weather events (tornadoes, hurricanes, floods...)
- There will be a big ecosystem of animals from bears to dolphins.
- Npc's will remember you if you mess up with them.
Jason Schreier said that Rockstar has no plan to release/talk GTA 6 Online
I think that if they won't put any reference in the Netflix Extender Look they're not gonna talk about Online anytime soon, and we'll probably see some news after GTA 6 release on November.
