I have to give Iraola his flowers for the substitutions he made today. 👏🔴
Taking Araujo off at half-time with Brentford down to 10 men made sense. Frimpong came on, but unfortunately, he got injured just five minutes into the second half.
What I liked was how Iraola handled the situation. With Jacquet on a yellow card and several other players booked, he had to be careful with his defensive options. Keeping Gomez available was a smart decision because we could have found ourselves in a difficult situation if another defender had to come off.
Instead of rushing Gomez onto the pitch immediately, he pushed Vítor Muñoz to right-back and brought Rio Ngumoha onto the right wing. And since we were already playing against 10 men, that adjustment made sense.
Then, after we were ahead, he brought Muñoz off and introduced Gomez to give us more defensive stability.
These are the kind of in-game decisions I want to see from our coach. He adapted to the situation, used the players available to him and made the right adjustments when we needed them.
Credit where it's due, Iraola. 👏❤️
Clarence Seedorf first words as Corinthians manager:
“The world is going through a difficult time. There is a genocide taking place. My worries cannot compare to those of people suffering through war. We are privileged to be here talking about football.”
I thank Tinubu a lot.
If not for anything, for at least exposing every single person we grew up respecting - revealing them for the fools that they are.
Yoruba Nollywood has been the most revealing. An entire harem of asslicking elderly morons.
'We got a good battle - three points is very valuable' 💪
Andoni Iraola praised his team’s patience and execution as they produced a 2-1 comeback victory 🗣️ https://t.co/1v1YslDmAU
