This is Imam AbdulRahman Kattab - Egyptian-born, Saudi-raised, arrived in Texas around 2023 - walking through some of the 7.25-acre Islamic campus he is building in North San Antonio, just minutes from a U.S. Army training base.

In his own fundraising video, he says:

“The first batch of my ummah that crosses the sea and spreads Islam, paradise is granted for them.

Your brothers and sisters here at the Northside Islamic Center of San Antonio are building a new masjid…

It is the opportunity to be among the first batch of those who spread Islam in this side of the city…

The biggest masjid… that will fit more than 2,000 people praying, learning, reading…”

He is openly framing the project as spreading Islam into a new part of America and promising paradise to those who fund it.

(🔺SIDE NOTE - Foreign money is flooding in to build Islamic campuses, schools, and housing on American soil - while the same countries ban churches and synagogues on theirs. Why are we allowing them to construct their bases here? Shut off the foreign funding. No more. 🔺)

🔺This is the same imam who:

Called October 7 a “day of remembrance” and prayed for Hamas’ “victory”

Preaches: “You came to die for the sake of Allah… We are facing one of two destinations: either victory or shahadah”

Teaches that martyrs beg to return to earth to fight, kill, and die again

Says through killing “the true essence of life comes out”

They are not just building a mosque.

They are building a self-contained Islamic campus with future housing and a K-12 school - a place where Muslims can live, pray, educate their children, and socialize largely within their own system.

Is this what we want rising in Texas communities?

Is this the “ummah that crosses the sea” we should be welcoming near our military bases?

How about we send him and his vision back across the sea - home - instead of letting him build an Islamic fortress in Texas?
