@t_sadiity They take kids away for neglect and abuse, not because people are poor. The first line is always schools and social workers stepping in when children look unfed or unbathed. If your children are taken away, there are safety and wellbeing issues far beyond what you're saying.

@madis87681 I'm not defending or confirmation their experience. I'm just saying that some hospitals and gynecologist will allow it. My husband certainly isnt licensed to deliver babies, even as a doctor.

@madis87681 My husband was allowed to deliver my daughter, but he was a Resident in the hospital at the time. He wasn't internal medicine or gynecology, but delivered babies in med school. I do think some hospitals allow it. My gynecologist was right next to him.

But, countries like Japan have very few criminals return to jail once they've been released. It is run like the military. I'm not a bleeding heart. This benefits society when they ultimately get out.

People either become harder criminals in jail or they become the prisoners new victims. I believe in punishment, but we must be better than the people we put in jail by not allowing it.

There are people all across the world without birth certificates and they all are equally valuable. How the heck is valuing every person regardless of circumstance racist?

Those born outside a hospital are legally obligated to report it. That is not the same thing as a person from a country that has no birth registry to issue one.

@AZionLion @Fair_and_Biased This argument means nothing to Christians. The new testament is what we follow most closely and is the word of God through Jesus. Rabbis can say whatever they want, but most priests (especially Catholics) do not echo this interpretation.

@lerrykal The argument is always that prolife people only care for babies before they are born. When a person then cares for the child like this mom, they are also ripped apart. All some of you want is any excuse to justify abortion as the only option.

@rozndo @lerrykal Or, she actually does have someone who depends on her and hasn't walked away. Gosh, even people that step up, love unconditionally, and live a selfless life are criticized by people behind a keyboard. Is abandoning their child the right thing to do? Good grief.
