The problem with puberty blockers is not with their use in trans kids. It’s with their use in the most impoverished, complex, and psychiatrically severe cases in which the referral should be to ACS, CPS, or an inpatient residential treatment facility and not outpatient Endocrinology. And the reason for that referral is not “trying to transition,” it’s for the pages of horror stories just recorded about abuse, neglect, and high risk psychotic symptoms. Clinicians should try to understand what is happening here in the context of the history of pharma companies partnering with underserved psychiatric facilities full of the most vulnerable populations & desperate for funds.

At the funeral service of late Queen Elizabeth, towards the end of the service, I was touched by the Archbishop's last words before the body was taken to the grave for burial.

He said:

"Now let us remove all symbols of power from the coffin (She was dethroned), so that our sister, Elizabeth (called by name) can be committed to the grave as a simple Christian".

Immediately,

1. The staff of office was removed,

2. Then the scepter,

3. The crown followed and all valuables were removed.

The Queen was buried with NOTHING.

Notice that the Archbishop did not include "Queen" to her name at this point too.

Life is indeed vanity. It is transient, and that teaches us humility.

1. Humility in power,

2. Humility in relating with others,

3. Humility in our acquisition of wealth, and

4. humility in all our endeavors,

In a nutshell

Because in the end, we will all go back with NOTHING.

This is correct. In the context of intimate care a patient always has the right to refuse care from anyone they wish. But if a patient requests single-sex care there may be times when it’s a criminal offence to tell them that their carer is of the opposite biological sex.
