49ers should sign Jimmie Ward to a 1 year deal. He is a coverage safety. Jayir Brown there supposed coverage safety had 56.5 PFF coverage grade. Beside his 2 INT game and 1 INT in the Super Bowl. Brown has been useless.

People do not understand that Mykel Williams help revamp the 49ers run defense and made a big impact before getting hurt. When on the field the rushing success rate was 25.8% when off it went to a staggering 66%.

The 49ers should trade for Jalen Carter instead of Crosby. The Eagles seem willing to trade him. I would be much more comfortable giving up Mykel Williams in this situation. Jalen Carter is not even in his prime yet. He is young, versatile, and healthy.

I get why the 49ers are hesitant to trade for Maxx Crosby. He is aging and giving up Mykel Williams a young, versatile pass rusher is a big ask. Especially given Crosbys knee. Who knows if Crosby will be the same.

The Big difference between why the 49ers and the Eagles who have both been to two super bowls in the past 7 years. Why the Eagles have won one and the 49ers haven’t. Is not because of Quarterbacks. It is the pass rushing in the second half. The 49ers pass rush is nonexistent.
