Students from West Seattle High School will be leading a day of service at Lincoln Park. We'll be removing non-native plants and preparing the area so that native plants may grow in their stead.

This past weekend 26 youth came out to help clean up Golden Gardens and pick up litter! We also spent some time learning about micro plastics and maritime debris together! IT WAS AMAZING!! Thanks everyone for coming out! Hope to see you at our leadership retreat on the 30th!
Shoutout to Pine Lake Middle School! Here they're doing trail work in back of their school building! Future projects include clearing an area for outdoor ed' programming, removing blackberry bushes, and making a throne from an old downed tree. One of the most stoked groups ever!

Wow! Look at this speedy Black Slug! So fast! So blur! They're consider invasive species. On one hand they can eat crops and compete against native slugs for habitat space, on another hand they provide a food source for wildlife and help debris decomposition! What do YOU think?
