Y4 children have been learning about Pregnancy & Maternity and Marriage & Civil Partnership for Diversity Day. Children discussed scenarios and decided if they were fair or unfair. We also discussed why the protected characteristics are important.
This week we have celebrated diversity and spoken about the significance of Black History Month. We are very proud to be a diverse school and take inspiration from the achievements of black communities around the world and closer to home with our own pupils.

To celebrate Diversity Day, Year 2 have talked about race not just being about skin colour, but about cultural identity. They have drawn self portraits to show that we are all to be treated equally.
Y4 have enjoyed putting their new Spanish skills to the test by creating greetings dialogues with a partner then practising them out loud. ¡Fantástico chicos y chicas! 🇪🇸👏
Year 3 have kicked started their new topic,Through the Ages. Looking at pictures from the past, they have been demonstrating fantastic curiosity. #learningwithoutlimits
