BTC Cycle Study #02
We studied the road to the top.
Now we’re looking at the road to the bottom.
ATH → Cycle Low:
2017 → 364 days
2021 → 376 days
Modern-cycle average: ~370 days
Cross-checked with the Halving → Low model, both timing models converge in the same window:
05 Oct 2026 – 17 Oct 2026
Not a prediction.
Just a very interesting overlap.
Do you think BTC finds its cycle low in early-to-mid October 2026?

BTC spent weeks moving sideways.
The moment you stop checking every 5 minutes...
it breaks above $71K.
That’s crypto.
Constant refreshing doesn’t improve your timing.
Having a plan does.
Set the alert. Keep your sanity.
Do you check BTC less when the market gets quiet — or even more?

@FurkanCCTV Unabhängig von der aktuellen Richtung: Das bleibt einer der ehrlichsten Sätze im Space. Ob bullish oder bearish — die meisten unterschätzen langfristig einfach, wie viel sie eigentlich halten wollten.
@0xJeff This sequence is the real DeFi flywheel when it actually starts working again. Majors move → TVL & revenue follow → real yield becomes interesting again. We’re not fully there yet, but the order of operations is correct.
@nodi_macro Classic. After a big green day everyone suddenly “always had higher BTC allocation” and “called the exact timing”. Real-time screenshots > retrospective wisdom. Always.
@TedPillows $2 billion paper gain in a single day is the kind of number that makes normal portfolio tracking feel a bit humble. Still wild how concentrated some of these institutional ETH bets have become.
@rektcapital Monthly Close is going to be the real tell here. Pressing into that major resistance while sitting on the 50-Month EMA is classic decision territory. Either it starts reclaiming as support or this zone becomes the ceiling for a while.
Bitcoin’s last 3 modern cycles peaked surprisingly close together.
2016 → 526 days
2020 → 548 days
2024 → 534 days
Modern cycle average: ~536 days.
If the pattern rhymes again — and the next halving lands around 17 Apr 2028 — the next post-halving ATH window would point roughly to:
25 Sep 2029 → 17 Oct 2029
Midpoint: ~05 Oct 2029
History doesn’t predict the future.
But patterns give context.
So the honest frame for the week ahead: the jobs report bought Bitcoin a dovish setup, but it’s on credit until CPI pays it off. The market knows this, which is why it’s waiting at $65K rather than ripping through it, momentum’s gone neutral, the tape is holding its breath for the next data point. Patience is the position until mid-month. The move needs a second leg, and CPI is where it comes from
@Alaouicapital That divergence is getting hard to ignore. Prefer watching the beaten-down asset over chasing the one that’s already run 50–100%. If rotation comes, this chart will look very different in hindsight.
@creptosolutions Exactly. Judging the whole market by the 8 coins on your watchlist is how you miss 80% of the actual action. There’s almost always something moving — the skill is noticing why, not just chasing the green.
@YoungMorphie@basis__pro Most “yield” in crypto is just leveraged directional bias with extra steps. Market-neutral approaches that actually don’t care if BTC goes up or down are still underrated. Math > narratives.
@Iamdotify This hits. Waiting for the “perfect size” is how a lot of people miss the entire move. 50$ that compounds beats 3k that never gets deployed because it felt too small. Size is a habit, not a starting point.
