@asemota If we have to go back to the BlackBerry era to find an example of Nigerians embracing subscriptions, then his point is fair.
Subscriptions struggle here because people avoid fixed monthly commitments in an unstable economy, pay-as-you-go just feels safer.
Africa isn't a 1.4 billion person market.
It's 50 million people surrounded by 1.35 billion dreams.
After processing $1B monthly, Tayo Oviosu revealed why most African startups die:
They're building for customers who don't exist yet.
The math that changes everything:
I own a farm in Nigeria, and I can confidently say that our problem isn’t a lack of seeds to plant.
It’s the lack of machines, storage facilities, good roads, and, ultimately, security.
The roads are so poor that it’s very expensive for small-scale farmers to transport their harvests to market.
That’s what we need to address, not introducing new types of seeds.
New seeds won’t solve our food crisis; if anything, they would worsen it.
Because, small scale farmers won't be able to farm when they can't buy a particular seed. That's a big problem.
@BWLawal Investing in oil to fund education is still investing in education. Human capital is the real engine of sustainable development and that’s where the focus should ultimately be.

When your maturity visits, part of your epiphany will be that the more you imagine God, the more you’ll reduce Him to your reality. We will indeed each grow to be able to see the world and imagine God beyond the limits of our personal comfort, the weight of our individual struggle or the challenges of our local geography.
Stop localizing the Almighty God.
And Stop reducing the possibilities in Christ to your pain, your postcode, or your pocket.
See the Universe. Not just the street you grew up on. Imagine God—not just as your Helper—but as the Sovereign Architect of global patterns and systems.
Understand this:
The instruments that deliver true prosperity and economic transformation—whether for a person, a family, an enterprise, or an entire nation—do not answer to religion.
They do not bow to constructs of spirituality. No. Rather..they obey intelligence, order, laws, alignment, value, and vision—and all are quantities created and permitted by God. Anyone committed to these quantities will manifest, regardless of religious affiliations.
God is not just a Comforter in your crisis. He is a Strategist in the cosmos.
If you want to rise, see further. Think deeper. Go beyond borders.
That’s where dominion begins.
Share this and retweet to your world. It’s duty to TRUTH.
Shalom.

Video Title: REINVENT: Maximizing the Moment.
I made a raw, unflinching dive into the blood economics holding Nigeria hostage.
This isn’t just a book. It’s a mirror held to the systemic rot, the exploitation, and the human cost of a resource that should normally heal, but sometimes kills us (here).
Think about it — If you really had an AI bot printing money from crypto trades, would you give it away for free?
Not even the most generous monk would pass up turning that into a SaaS.
