Lovers of democracy were silent after we shared the video of where Adeleke, through his party members, was sharing ₦10k and asking people to take an oath.
This act of selective criticism is not good for our democracy.
But it’s what it is. We’ll save this video for them so that when they start shouting "APC wants to rig" or "APC rigged", we’ll play this for them.
@RealArije Gov Adeleke gave them money for votes buying, in addition he asked them to take an oath😭😭
They even included their children, family in the oath.
Osun: I’ll win with people’s votes, not rigging – Oyebamiji replies Adeleke
The Osun State All Progressives Congress APC’s governorship candidate for the August 15 election, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO, has disclosed that it is the people’s votes that will make him governor not by rigging.
Governor Ademola Adeleke had raised alarm that the APC is banking on rigging to win the election, declaring that he will be victorious in a free and fair election.Speaking at the inauguration of the rehabilitation of 82 kilometres Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan road, Oyebamiji said the governor is aware of his imminent loss ahead of the August 15 poll, hence decided to feed the people with misinformation.
He tasked the teeming populace to vote APC with a view to aligning the state with the central government and thus attract more infrastructure.
“Governor Adeleke is confused; that is why he is shouting about rigging. We are not like them in 2022 when they rigged the APC out through internal sabotage. This time, he should know that the people of Osun are the ones who will vote for APC and send him packing on August 15.
“Please don’t fight anybody; let’s concentrate on mobilising the people to come out and vote for APC. We have a president who loves development and once we get back to power, we will attract more infrastructure to Osun.
“My administration will put an end to lack of seriousness in government. We will make every kobo we invest in the development of Osun worth it and transform the lives of our people.
“Adeleke is already reading defeat on the wall. We have been to all the local governments and we have entered into agreement with the people on inclusive government and I am sure if the election holds today, I will win,” he said.
I am in Osun State to support our great party, the APC, and campaign for its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
I have urged Edo indigenes resident in Osun and the good people of the state to support a leader with the vision, competence, and commitment to deliver sustainable development and improve the lives of the people. I am confident that AMBO will provide purposeful leadership and move Osun State to greater heights.
I wish him and our great party a resounding victory at the polls.

If APC is responsible for vandalizing the bridge, then did they also damage the pillars and wash away other roads with one day of rain?
This blame-game from Demola and his circle is getting ridiculous.
Let’s focus on solutions, not stupidity.

Agriculture is more than an occupation; it is the foundation of food security, economic prosperity, and sustainable development. Across Obokun and Oriade yesterday, I met hardworking farmers, industrious youths, and resilient families whose hopes are tied to the land. They deserve a government that will stand with them, invest in them, and create opportunities for them to thrive.
My administration will move beyond promises to practical solutions. We will embrace mechanised farming, provide hybrid seedlings, improve access to modern farm inputs, and create a seamless value chain that connects our farmers to profitable markets. By opening up rural roads and strengthening agricultural infrastructure, we will ensure that farming becomes a rewarding enterprise capable of creating jobs, increasing incomes, and guaranteeing food sufficiency across Osun State.
I am deeply humbled by the royal blessings and heartfelt prayers of the Alademure of Ibokun, His Royal Majesty Oba Festus Kayode Awogboro, and the Elegboro of Ijebujesa, His Royal Majesty Oba Moses Olufemi Agunsoye. Their confidence in our vision strengthens my resolve to serve with humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the people of Osun.
The overwhelming reception we received throughout Ijesa North is a clear demonstration that our Prosperity Agenda resonates with the aspirations of our people. Together, we are building a movement anchored on competence, compassion, and purposeful leadership.
By the grace of God and with your support on August 15, we will restore confidence in governance, unlock the vast agricultural potential of our state, and build an Osun where every farmer prospers, every community is connected, and every family shares in the dividends of good governance.
The journey to a prosperous Osun continues, and together, victory is certain.
