Today the Fairthorne Manor team said farewell to Chris Hand, our CEO, and in recognition of him passing the baton, we had him plant a tree, just as he did when he started 37 years ago.

Staff are excited to be "part of a new project that supports inclusion in Early Years" and "involved in supporting the quality of practice" and that they are one of the first nurseries in the UK to implement this tool.

Major Mick launched his homemade "Tintanic II" here this morning and is rowing all the way to Hamble to raise money for Children on the Edge, providing reception centres in Romania and Moldova for Ukrainian refugees.

Mick has raised over £10,000 so far. 👏

In recognition of Queen Elizabeth II and to enable our staff and their families to pay their respects during this time of national mourning, community centres, early years settings, and offices will be closed on Monday 19th.
