i don’t think people should be sharing takes on the “correct” way to use ao3 if they don’t understand its history and WHY it exists in the first place. ao3 was designed by freaks for freaks. it’s anti censorship and it has strict archive rules and a strong tagging system for a reason. is not the place for puritans to start complaining that a correctly tagged fic has something they personally don’t like.
