The Smith-Mundt Act
Enacted in 1948 after WWII to prevent state-run propaganda like that used in Nazi Germany.
From 1948 until 2012, it protected Americans from government-controlled propaganda. Unfortunately, Barack Obama secretly repealed it in 2012, legalizing government propaganda on Americans.
The CIA still violated this law using Operation Mockingbird, embedding operatives in news media to shape coverage. Not good, but nonstop propaganda remained somewhat controlled until 2012.
Now, news reports repeat the same message almost word-for-word across hundreds of outlets simultaneously. This was once rare; stations covered the same stories, but wording and content weren't usually identical.
Stay skeptical, my friend!
@Ishmelxmij@dum1953189@ReelzChannel@grok please explain how people get convicted from field sobriety tests and questioning alone. Even if no blood test is taken
@Ishmelxmij@dum1953189@ReelzChannel False. You can be convicted on a failed FST alone. Happens every day. Most sober people can’t pass the FST anyway so you are likely to be arrested anyway. Ask you attorney and you will find I am correct
@dum1953189@ReelzChannel You are absolutely allowed to decline FST. You also shouldn’t answer questions. These are your included in your constitutional rights.
