the deepest lesson we learn from surah maryam is that at times, you may feel so lonely and helpless that you wish you could just simply disappear, but seeking refuge in Allah is the only way to overcome even the darkest of moments
one thing i learned from being sad is you just have to feel it and once you’re done, you just need to go out of the room because life is so much bigger than the room you’ve been living in. trust me, it works.
i've started understanding why the prophet ﷺ made so many du'as about the heart. a sound heart can handle delays, forgive people, remain grateful, and keep turning back to Allah. so much of life becomes easier when the heart is at peace.
the prophet ﷺ used to make du'a for things we often overlook like.. barakah in time, protection from anxiety, beneficial knowledge, and a sound heart. sometimes i think we're searching for happiness in complicated places while the sunnah keeps pointing us towards simpler things
sometimes Allah answers a du'a by changing your heart instead of your situation.. you stop chasing what once consumed you, and suddenly the peace you've been asking for begins to settle within you
Poor dear. It breaks my heart to hear about her suffering. Mayim, contact me, I will pay for your flight to Gaza where you can tell your sad story to the parents of blown up, sniped, burned to death, and mutilated children.
