Ynys Môn’s Cari Hughes has been called up to the Wales athletics team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!

She’ll be competing in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Cari will be our first ever competitor in the Commonwealth Games and we’re unbelievably proud of her!!

Ynys Môn’s men’s football team will be heading to the Isle of Man this summer for two friendlies as part of the build up to the Island Games 2027 in Faroe Islands.

They’ve done it again! The men’s football team have won the semi final and will play for a gold medal tomorrow. Superb from everyone single one of them.
