@ClaireCoutinho@NJ_Timothy You guys attacking each other on X about the past is boring. You don’t see the best businesses doing that. OpenAI and Anthropic aren’t doing that. SpaceX and Origin aren’t doing that. Focus on the future and stop doing really dumb things so our country starts winning.
@MatthewStadlen When asking for everyone to have equal treatment rather than having different rules for different groups is thought to be divisive, we are truly way beyond the looking glass.
In Parliament today: I expose an official national police policy, published in March 2025, requiring police forces to treat different ethnic groups differently.
This is immoral, divisive and dangerous
We cannot have two-tier policing
The Home Secretary should ensure this policy is ended right now

@ClaireCoutinho The Uniparty were complicit. And still are. Unelected and unaccountable quangos have been encouraged in all aspects of life. Governments with good intentions but not measuring outcomes.
Ivanka (@IvankaTrump) on escaping competition through authenticity:
"@Naval always says escape competition through authenticity.
If you're competing it's because you're copying.
Build something that fully comes from you and that will feel most right.
It’s also the thing that's least replicable.
I love the idea of just escaping competition through authenticity but you have to do the hard work of knowing who you are."
@Jameswise@stianwestlake There is no need - from the future pensioner’s perspective - to have private equity or private credit exposure. Zero. They can get sufficient diversified returns from public - liquid, low cost - markets.
@ZiaYusufUK Seriously, turn the rhetoric dial down. No need to be blasting out at 10/10 every day. You will put people off. The current shadow bench definitely has some wets that need excising. But you should recognise there are some very solid looking newbies too.
@Jameswise@stianwestlake Are you recommending people put a portion of their pensions into private, illiquid, (large transaction cost) frontier tech companies? If so why would they do that versus QQQ or other more narrow focused tech ETFs?

UK Register of Worker and Temporary Worker licensed sponsors findings.
Data: from https://t.co/6yGbnfdSxP & Company House
Current heat map view as of 29/05 - only ~20k data points so far out of ~121k total
If any locals in the area can also collaborate would be great, and please correct me if I am wrong in any of my findings.
@DanNeidle@HussyOsman 3. Spend the same (don’t do this) but judiciously i.e don’t spaff money up against the wall.
Which requires elected officials and civil servants to be accountable and personally liable.
@Helen_Whately@Conservatives Yes, but the Conservatives have to own the pandemic response. The government at the time prioritised older people at the expense of younger ones. Why?
@SuellaBraverman Agreed but “get an apprenticeship” is a v hard thing to do at scale. The best apprenticeships are harder to land than the most selective university degree courses. As one example. We should push get a job. Build a business too.
There should be no minimum wage up to age 21.
Companies will take the risk on hiring someone with no work history and cover the costs of training them up if they can factor that into their pay.
They can then get more experience and turn that into higher pay down the line.
Regarding youth unemployment…
Remove the minimum wage and employment rights for the young and you’ll see a wave of jobs created.
Why?
1. Low risk / low cost for the employer
2. Slap the entitled shit out of the youth
A good, hard working kid will start a career and do well.
An entitled lazy fuck will learn the harsh reality of life.
Suddenly unviable businesses become viable. Unemployment will fall. Welfare demands will drop.
It’s not hard if you engage your brain.
