Worst thing you can do in your twenties is play house. Ride a bunch of dead ends just because it’s comfortable. Apartment, dog, gf you don’t plan on marrying. Low mobility career while optimizing for the weekends. You’re sabotaging yourself and future you will hate you for it. Break the chain. Accept that it’s going to be messy and uncomfortable. Do whatever you need to do to get that momentum back.
Stop. Playing. House.
Your family will straight up ruin your life if you let them decide anything for you. And what’s crazy is most of the time they think they’re helping you by doing it. Maybe on some level they love seeing you fail and prove yourself incapable of being your own person
@flawedaxioms It saves money but many people don't account for the toll it takes on your mental health living with parents for all that time.
I'm about to start paying $1k per month to rent a place because living with my mother is unbearable and I've reached my limit
If you didn’t make it to streamer university it’s fine go to streamer community college for a year or two, get your basics in and transfer with a decent GPA and you save a lot of money
Continuing to live at home is one of the worst mistakes I've made in my life. It totally stunted my development and made me miserable at the same time. Unless you're totally broke I'd never recommend it
Do not live with your parents for long periods of time in your twenties. Get five roommates, rent the space under the stairs, whatever you have to do. Anything is better than moving home.
@clintstevensTV Sorry to hear that Clint, I really enjoyed those moments on stream when you would tell us about whatever silly thing she was doing. RIP 🙏
We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
trebuchet seemed like a good investment at first so i got one for what I thought was a great price but guess what, turns out it only can launch boulders from the same company that sold me the trebuchet because of some proprietary bs and it’s a monthly boulder subscription service
once you cut people out of your life, you need to become very comfortable with them talking bad and making things up about you. bc they will fill your silence and your absence with stories that make them feel better about losing access to you. people rarely take accountability when it’s easier to paint you as the villain.
