Our flight is with @AmericanAir and they have said they can’t do anything because we booked with @loveholidays who haven’t been very helpful at all

This is such a long shot but it’s looking like we can’t fly to our holiday in Mexico because we have to stop in America and we aren’t allowed due to not fully vaccinated. Only way we can is a direct flight which @British_Airways and we can’t afford those, any suggestions?😢

@AmericanAir I have spoken to three different AA employees about our flight to Cancun on Monday. We were worried about covid restrictions and was reassured three times, that we could and would be able to fly! Today (6 days from our flight) we are told that we can’t. Because

They didn’t read the information right. I have been told that I have to email customer relations which is 7-10days response!! What sort of customer service is this, my partner is distraught as she has been planing this for years only to be told 6 days before that we can’t go

@AmericanAir I have done this, it’s slightly confusing as it says travel restricted for unvaccinated and may not be able to leave isolated area/airport. I spoken to an American Airline employee on live chat and they said we can travel just need a negative PCR test. Is this correct?

@HeathrowAirport Cancun is the destination and there are no requirements about vaccination.
I spoke to the airline via online and phone. One person said we will be fine to travel the other has said no 😬
