Pastor Jon Magnuson and the Cedar Tree Institute will be planting 500 trees in the Yellow Dog Watershed with volunteers that include at-risk youth and community members. The seedlings are Northern white cedar and are a sacred tree among the Ojibway peoples here in the U.P.

This Saturday, June 8th, they will need shovels and teams of two to plant 100 12" -14" trees and 50 2" trees. being place in memory of an individual.

Volunteers can expect to return to Marquette by 1PM.
