Just completed this. Being able to swim is a life skill. Got both my daughters in the pool as early as six months. They are both confident in the water. Definitely something I wished I had improved on, although there is still time.

@talkaboutblack @You_Flourish Please spare a few secs to complete this short survey to help with a problem plaguing the Black community for generations

It is highlighted that 95% of Black adults and 80% of Black children DO NOT swim and we have the highest drowning rate.

Thank U 🙏🏽

Man takes my ID to write pass
Man: Are you a cleaner?
Me: Why would you ask that?
Man: Because we send cleaners to the back
Me: ?
Reported him to Manager who apologised profusely

Took my youngest to an adventure playground, this morning. Turns out it's not open until 1pm. Met another mum, already late for work in a panic. Her daughter and mine are curled up on the sofa, watching a movie. Half-term can be hard work as a working parent.#workingfromhome
