He beat a strong Muzala Samukonga 🇿🇲 who ran 44.04s, while Zakithi Nene 🇿🇦 was 3rd in 44.40s.

Lee Eppie 🇧🇼 is the new African Champion in the men’s 400m!!🥇

After taking Silver at the previous edition, the Motswana quartermiler returned to strike GOLD in Accra, winning the title in 44.66s.

Dennis Hove 🇿🇼 claimed Silver in 44.92s after an aggressive opening half, while Zuze Leeford 🇿🇼 secured bronze in 45.05s to complete a 2-3 podium finish for Zimbabwe.
