If you're one of the people who still believes in allowing immigration from india you should read this thread.
My experience in Silicon Valley is exactly the same. They will lie, scam, cheat and discriminate as easy as they breathe. Normal people would feel guilt, shame, anxiety with such behavior, but it comes natural to them. It's just how things are done in india.
Part of the reason it's so important for them to take over departments and discriminate against qualified American applicants is because it's the only way they will last in an organization. Any normal manager would not put up with such blatant dishonesty and unreliability.
It's existential for them to maintain departmental ethnostates which shield them from accountability. Which is also why indian owned businesses in America are always 99% indian. They are totally incompatible with the American way of doing business.
Indian managers at @Intuit may be involved in a fraudulent, chain-style contractor hiring scheme.
Instead of hiring full-time employees, they route jobs through shell companies linked to them, potentially receiving kickbacks in return!
Total scam by scums!
